Here’s is a small clip from Fable 3 III of a fight scene between the Hero and a pack of wolves.

A small young girl is running for her life from the wolves and it is down to the hero to save her or not according to your deposition! 

We can only assume that this is a mission in Fable 3 III but it shows some fight techniques and magic.

Get Fable 3 (Xbox 360)

Lionhead Studio’s have released a new Fable 3 III trailer / video and there are some interesting developments if you listen closely to the trailer.

From our understanding the king of Albion die’s leaving two son’s, one becomes the tyrant king which we know about and the other is the hero. So you must lead your revolt to overthrow your brother and not father as previously thought.

The Rise to Power,

Is more than a Journey,

It’s a Revolution.

Get Fable 3 (Xbox 360)

Lionhead Studio’s have released a new Fable 3 III insight video with featuring John Cleese talking about his role as the hero’s butler and Peter Molyneux talking about the new GUI (graphical user interface) system.

This video gives some real insights to Fable 3 III, I had to reduce the quality slightly for this video as the site crashed last time I added a video due to the sheer number of visitors and bandwidth consumed.

The Fable 3 III game case / frontage artwork has been released, shown below and most retailers still have a release date of the 26th October 2010 for the all pre-orders.

Microsoft have officially announced that Fable 3 III will be coming to the PC.

It will be available exclusively for download from Games for Windows Live.

They have also announced that Fable 3 III will also come in two versions, Standard edition and Limited Collector’s Edition. Initially only the standard edition will be available on the PC.

We understand that the Limited collector’s edition will have the following over the standard edition:

• An exclusive quest, Uncover the mystery of the haunted forests of Silverpines and earn the legendary sword, Wolfsbane, deadly against wolves and balverines.
• An exclusive location: Unlock a new region, ideal for settling down with a family and discovering new treasures.
• Fable 3 III playing cards, Created by Lionhead Studio’s, these cards depict every type of character in Fable 3 III, including Heroes, royals, rebels and villains from across Albion and beyond.
• A Guild Seal Coin: The coin features a Good side (blue) and Evil side (red) to assist players in making critical decisions that will impact the fate of the world forever.
• A new breed of dog, renowned for its loyalty, the Boxer is a brave canine companion worthy of greatest Queens and Kings.
• A unique outfit: unearth one male and female outfit from the mysterious, faraway land of Aurora, a new destination in your Fable 3 III adventures.

All very quiet at the moment from Lionhead Studio’s about Fable 3 III, normally this means another slice of Fable 3 III news is usually on its way, we will see.

A few rumours are circulating the internet about Fable 3 III and the list is as follows:

John Cleese will do the voice over’s for the butler in Fable 3 III.

Stephen Fry will once again the voice over’s for Reaver.

Jonathon Ross will the voice over’s for an undisclosed character.

Saved games from Fable 2 II may be able to be migrated over to Fable 3 III and your hero from Fable 2 II will be your parent in Fable 3 III.

As previously mentioned, Fable 3 III will be set in a industrial revolution era, ( Steampunk – an era where steam power is widely used but with elements of fantasy or science fiction), a bit like Victorian Britain with lord of the rings thrown in for good measure.

Lionhead Studio’s have finally broken the silence on Fable 3 III at XBOX X10 (an expo for showing off upcoming Xbox 360 games and add-ons) in San Francisco on Thursday 11th February 2010.  Below are some extracts from the Lionhead Studio’s website.

Fable III’s first showing

We have broken the embargo and showed Fable III to the masses at X10 in San Fran yesterday. Peter gave an immense amount of interviews resilting in the web being awash with articles about our latest title, Fable III (or Fable 3, we haven’t figured out how we want to write it jus yet)!
